Tank & Tankless

Water Heaters: Tank & Tankless

Pro Plumbers FL installs and replaces both tank and tankless water heaters across Clearwater & Tampa Bay. A like-for-like tank swap is usually a same-day job; a first-time tankless conversion takes longer because it needs new gas, venting and water connections. Either way, the unit is sized to your household and your water so it lasts.

What We Do

The Right Heater, Sized Correctly

Most water heater problems trace back to wrong sizing or hard water, not the brand. We size tank and tankless units to your actual household demand, and we account for Tampa Bay's hard water from day one.

FAQ

Common Questions

Tank or tankless — which should I get?

Tankless costs more upfront and saves space and standby energy; tank costs less upfront and is simpler to service. We size either to your actual usage.

How long does installation take?

A same-type swap is usually same-day. Tank-to-tankless conversions can take a full day due to gas and venting changes.

Do you install expansion tanks?

Yes — required by code in most closed systems, and we won’t skip it to save you a few dollars.

How long should a water heater last?

8–12 years for a tank unit in our water, longer with a softener. Tankless units can last 15–20 years with descaling.
